DefinedMeaning talk:Indo-Aryan language (352430)

Indo-Aryan language is not a language family. Indo-Aryan languages is a subgroup or group of the Indo-European family of languages. So the definition should appreciate the singular form of the expression. And to talk about the Indo-Aryan language family is linguistically wrong. I am not modifying the definition now as I guess GerardM would object. Andres 14:28, 31 October 2006 (CET)

What means "originated" here is not clear. I doubt the Indo-Aryan languages as a whole originate in all those countries. It is hard to say where they originate. I think a definition should use well-known facts. Andres 14:31, 31 October 2006 (CET)
