This article (Limburgian (344765)) needs attention because:
its English definition is imprecise
It has been added to this category for attention. Thank you for your patience.

The current:

A group of Franconian dialect spoken mainly in Belgian and Dutch Limburg.

should be made more precise as:

A group of Lower Franconian dialects spoken mainly in Belgian and Dutch Limburg.

There is a huge difference between Franconian (mainly in Germany, France, and Luxembourg) and Lower Franconian (maninly in Belgium, Netherlands, their former colonies, and South Africa). Most linguists do not see Lower Franconian as part of Franconian today. --Purodha Blissenbach 00:24, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
