This article (bilge oil (343)) needs attention because:
It is not clear where exactly the bilge oil accumulates: Does "just inside the shell plating" mean it gets soaked in or how else can it be "inside the plating"? How about saying something more simple like: "Waste oil, usually mixed with water, that accumulates in usually small quantities in the bilge of a ship."? Though now I start wondering why does it accumulate at all? My guess is that it has something to do with the engine and/or gear and is inavoidable. If that's the case, should it be mentioned as well? --dh 01:32, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
