This article (bone (5983)) needs attention because:
circular definition
It has been added to this category for attention. Thank you for your patience.

"made of bone" should be removed. Even better: "Each of the components of the internal, hard framework of the body of vertebrate animals". --InfoCan 00:19, 26 March 2012 (CEST)

Technically speaking, it is not circular, because it is not the same meaning of "bone" that is meant here (1 bone, the component (countable) is made of bone, the matter (uncountable)).
The problem of defining bone with "vertebrate animals" is that I guess that "vertebrate animals" is defined as an animal having bones... Maybe a good solution is to do like the Spanish definition which does not say "made of bone", but "made of calcium, phosphate and collagen" (if I am right on the translation) --Kip 21:04, 29 March 2012 (CEST)
Done as you suggested (but modified to "consisting mainly of calcium phosphate, collagen and cells") --InfoCan 17:52, 30 March 2012 (CEST)
