An example: In German one could say: "Der Arzt vereist die Warze.", which can be translated with "The doctor ices the wart." And one could say: "Ich kühle mein Getränk mit Eis.", which I would translate with "I cool my drink with ice." Now, would it be right to translate the latter with: "I ice my drink"? Because then this DM can't be translated with de:vereisen since if one would say: "Ich vereise mein Getränk", I would think the drink was turned to ice. Instead it had to be translated with de:kühlen. --dh 11:36, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
