DefinedMeaning talk:ice (1837)
This article (ice (1837)) needs attention because:
It has been added to this category for attention. Thank you for your patience.
In the current def, "The dense substance formed by the freezing of water to the solid state; it commonly occurs in the form of hexagonal crystals", the second half is unnecessary for unambiguously defining ice. It is encyclopedic, not lexical. Like in Wiktionary, I suggest to shorten it as:
- "Water in frozen (solid) form."
