I don't know what "WESTS" means but I wonder whether this definition really corresponds to any word in any language. Usually the words include also gifts received and finds, so what about a simpler and more general definition as "Gain of capital, whatever be its source"? Secondly, there is an accounting notion of "income" where the so-called "income" is a gain counted in currency. For instance if you buy 100 computers, sell them later 5% more expansively but the inflation in that period was 7%, the 5% are, in accounting, an "income" (and you're likely to be taxed on that) while, economically, you lost capital. --Fiable.biz 13:15, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
