DefinedMeaning talk:juvenile (506372)
The DM is too broad, unspecific and maybe even wrong for the given translations. IMO 'youth' is defined as the time of life between childhood and adulthood and therefore does not belong in a definition for 'childish' (or German 'kindisch'). And 'immaturity' is quite relative since both a child and a teenager (or even an 'adult') might be immature, but definitely not in the same way or to the same degree. Besides, is 'juvenile' really a synonym of 'childish'? I always thought of it as synonymous with adolescent. --dh 22:32, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
- I changed the definition to "Behaving immaturely, like a child" and removed the synonym "juvenile". I hope it is better. --Kip 09:21, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- The definition in language "deu" (German) is out of sync.
