Expression talk:Bahnhof

From OmegaWiki

The DefinedMeaning that links to Bahnhof is describes the German word WiktionaryZ:Haltestelle much more accurately. A Bahnhof rather describes a building which needs to be of a certain size, just a sign on a pole is not enough. Note that German also knows the word WiktionaryZ:Station, which is mostly used for subways. --Mkill 20:27, 30 July 2006 (CEST)

I fixed this by combining station with Haltestelle and Bahnhof with train station. This conveys the german meaning much better. --Mkill 20:32, 30 July 2006 (CEST)

I agree that the definition defines at Haltestelle defines Bahnhof more accurately. Creating a new DM for Bahnhof is the wrong way of doing it. It would make more sense to have a new DM for Haltestelle, remove it from the DM and add Bahnhof in stead .. GerardM 21:00, 30 July 2006 (CEST)
It's correct and IMHO best this way. Greetings Pill δ 21:20, 30 July 2006 (CEST)

Not a buliding[edit]

The definitions are all wrong. A train ststion is not a building, because there are (many) train stations without any building. The correct word is "facility". I could modify the German and the English definition, but then the other defintions are still wrong. What shal I do? --Mg 08:36, 7 March 2007 (EST)
