The current definition, "A toxic metalloid element with symbol As and atomic number 33, existing in several allotropic forms, that occurs principally in realgar and orpiment and as the free element. It is used in semiconductors, lead-based alloys, and high temperature brasses" is unnecessarily detailed. I suggest "A toxic metalloid element with symbol As and atomic number 33" as it is sufficiently descriptive and distinguishing. The rest is encyclopedic information that does not need to be in a dictionary. --InfoCan 20:33, 6 April 2012 (CEST)
