My edits[edit]

This is to explain my coming edits and to avoid unnecessary reverts. This page describes the term "coat of arms" but contains also translations for the term "(e)scutcheon", which is the shield depicted in a CoA. These terms should not be used synonymously, because a CoA may consist of more parts than only the escutcheon. I will therefore remove the translations meaning "escutcheon" and add some more meaning "coat of arms". I also intend to create a definition for "escutcheon", but perhaps I cannot do everything today, so please be patient. --Andreas 09:25, 13 May 2009 (EDT)
