Expression talk:cucarachas

Maybe that's the wrong place to ask, but are there any rules concerning the numerus of entries? While "cockroach" is singular, "cucarachas" (es) is definitely plural (and AFAIK also (se) "kackerlackor"). This strikes me as beeing rather odd. - 01:44, 1 October 2006 (CEST)

The problem here I think is that it is uncertain if we are referring to a single individual, or the order Blattodea. At least for Swedish, the plural form is the name of the order (with 3500 species...). I am not sure how to deal with this. --Sannab 11:54, 1 October 2006 (CEST)
Good question - also Italian is plural ... I cannot concentrate on this right now - will come back later on. --Sabine 18:08, 1 October 2006 (CEST)
