This article (police officer) needs attention because:
The Meaning: "Policeman. (depreciative term)" is invalid. (a) it is giving only the term, instead of explaining a concept. (b) it is talking about its use as depreciative term, which is not part of a Definition and must be let to attributes. --Purodha Blissenbach 00:23, 30 August 2006 (CEST)

Discussing it with Gerard, I was told that it's best to consider the depreciative term as a different Defined Meaning, at least for now. We'll see in the future how the software can deal with this. "depreciative" can be considered part of the definition, since we'd like that the translations are depreciative terms also. It'll be good when the "not identical meaning" flag is shown for the definitions list Kipcool 09:48, 30 August 2006 (CEST)

This article (police officer) needs attention because:
The Meanings "Policeman." and "An officer in a law enforcement agency." are either identical (the syntrans given at the moment lend themselves to that hypothesis) and should be merged, or they are not, then they need to be made more distinctive. --Purodha Blissenbach 00:23, 30 August 2006 (CEST)

Coming from German I think they're different, but the Definition "An officer in a law enforcement agency." as it is, is not sharp enough for the German situation, and completely includes "policeman/policewoman". -- Purodha Blissenbach 00:23, 30 August 2006 (CEST)
