This article (water) needs attention because:
"The liquid that forms streams ..." is the same as "Common liquid (H₂O) which forms rain, rivers ...". Possibly the 1st meaning refers "body of water" (hypernym of stream, river, lake ..., German: Gewässer). "Gewässer" is not the liquid.
