Transitive Verbs[edit]
A transitive verb describes the action done by a subject to an object.
- I eat corn.
- Nacua ixim.
- I hate dogs.
- Xic' nacuil li tz'i.
Intransitive Verbs[edit]
Intransitive verbs describe the action done by a subject with no object.
- I sleep.
- Nincuarc.
- I walk.
- Ninbec.
Note that transitive verbs all have an intransitive form.
- I eat.
- Nincua'ac.
- I hate.
- Xic' niniloc.
