Glagolitic Scipt

The Glagolitsa is the oldest known Slavic alphabet. It was created in the 9th century AD, in part probably mostly derived from graphemes of the medieval cursive Greek small alphabet, minor elements may be based on Hebrew, or on ancient Slavic runes. Both in Bosnia and Croatia, the Glagolitic Script ist still used in liturgy, otherwise it was superceeded by Cyrillic and Latin.
