[edit] Open questions
(moved from the article, question raised 11:32, 11 September 2006 by Purodha)
- Since the wording of both narrower and broader terms is ambigous, there should be an explanation as to what they mean. My guess is: the currently selected DM already on the page is a narrower/broader as shown in comparison to the DM selected in the dropdown box at the right for a specific expression. (But I have no reason to assume to be guessing right)
- Also: Do relations relate DMs? In other words: is the expression typed during the process of creating a relation indeed not kept?
- Relations relate DMs. GerardM 19:12, 11 September 2006 (CEST)
- An example: a broader term of analytical chemistry is chemistry which broader term is science.
- A narrower term of science is chemistry which has a narrower term analytical chemistry.
- As this relates to the DM's this is set for all languages, for instance of your default language is German:
- engere Begriffe Wissenschaft > Chemie > analytische Chemie.

- The relation "broader" and "narrower" Term needs to be explained to the editor on the edit screen, otherwise the edit screen remains ambigous, even more so, once it becomes translated. --Purodha Blissenbach 15:17, 26 November 2006 (CET)
[edit] Update needed?
Section "Modifying the first Definition"
- Paragraph 1: I think (and hope) we now allow modifying the first definition. We've done that several times already, and we have the outofsync template to use.
- Paragraph 2: Mark the problem by adding a {{Attention|<comment>|DefinedMeanings}} to the talk page of the English Expression. We now add that to the DefinedMeaning talk page, don't we? Kipcool 23:17, 23 November 2006 (CET)
- Please change it. (PS. I modified the above by adding ). HenkvD 14:05, 24 November 2006 (CET)
