Nonindigenous? Would not a better name be 'Not identical'?--Sannab 16:48, 4 May 2006 (CEST)

I just spoke to GerardM and he told me that "not identical" was decided upon as a better term. I'm renaming the article (again). Laszlo 17:46, 4 May 2006 (CEST)

[edit] Adding DM as Not identical

In fact the whole DM should be added, not all its Expressions.

For example at hän two DM's should be added he and she marked as Not identical. Likewise at he and she on DM hän should be added.

Otherwise a new syntrans of he or she (for instance Bulgarian той) should be added to hän as well. Or a new syntrans of hän should be added to both he and she. (HenkvD)

You do not add DM's as not identical. This is an absolute wrong notion. You add Expressions as a Syntrans and mark those as not identical. These Expressions need to exist as a Syntrans linked to a DefinedMeaning where they ARE identical. GerardM 12:23, 30 August 2006 (CEST)
Gerard, what I mean is that in theory a DM should be added instead of all its expressions. This would mean a new feature, or for instance as a new type of relation. HenkvD 14:43, 30 August 2006 (CEST)

[edit] Clarification requested

I don't think there is a clear difference between the two examples. It says that chicken is a hyponym of soepkip and thus soepkip will not be added as a synonym to chicken, which is all well. But in the case of hän, this expression is also a hyponym of she but it is still added as a (not identical) synonym. The difference seem to be that ther exists a proper synonym to the hyponym in the former case, and not in the latter. Maybe this should be clarified in the text. Yes, I agree that should be clarified. László 03:52, 16 February 2007 (EST)
