I'm currently reviewing the Basic English vocabulary. As my interests involve creating a self-sufficient system defining system with Basic English, I am concerned about making sure that Basic English isn't defined with words that are not in Basic English. This is similar to the goals behind Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English (LDOCE).
