I'm Pieter Jansegers and I'm a Frenchteacher from Flanders, the Dutch speaking part of Belgium, the little country in the middle of Europe.
I'm interested in lexicography since I enherited my grandfather's Latin-Dutch dictionary written by Adhemar Geerebaert S.J. with a very interesting introduction into lexicography and the evolution of word senses.
Like my mother is a Francophone, but my father rather a flamingant, I was brought up and educated in Dutch, but always interested in my mother's tongue and I finally studied French Linguistics and Literature at Ghent University ( Universiteit Gent ).
I'm the eldest of four and my oldest sister and my younger brother are also Frenchteachers, only my youngest sister didn't study French - she's a lawyer.
I'm a collector of dictionaries, grammars and conjugation manuals.
