Thanks[edit]
Thanks for welcoming me. You never did tell me in the ESP channel what differentiates OmegaWiki from Wiktionary and its multiple language sites. If you did, I apologize because my stupid #$^#$% wireless connection is not having a good day. Jfingers88 04:16, 10 April 2006 (CEST)
Blocks[edit]
Why block me (Pietras1988) and Roman 92? They are stupid. OmegaWiki is fucking project because pl wikt and others are been deleted ;(.

+Babel (hope you don't mind)[edit]
Not at all. You just handed me my Cliffs notes for most of the ISO-639-3 codes I needed to look up. :-) Thanks! Rodasmith 03:46, 17 July 2006 (CEST)
Logo[edit]
Hi Pouvoircéleste, you asked me if you could use the logo I modified for OmegaWiki ; you can use it as you want for that, I just hope there is no problem with the license. - Dakdada (discuter-talk) 19:11, 25 July 2006 (CEST)
Harry Potter[edit]
Are you sure it is a good idea to add terms from the Harry Potter books? We don't have any criteria for relevancy yet, and it's much too early to discuss these things, but I think we should stick to non-fictional places and entities for now. My fear is if we start this, we will soon have Klingon planets, Final Fantasy characters, Star Wars races from obscure off-canonical books, monsters from Dungeons and Dragons ... I wouldn't start adding that kind of stuff as long as we're still short of "normal" words. --Mkill 17:00, 6 August 2006 (CEST)
Speculaas[edit]
Are you sure these are supposed to be DMs for English? I'd swear these are very Dutch words... Siebrand 01:28, 15 August 2006 (CEST)
OmegaWiki_talk:offer[edit]
There are meanwhile several languages and several DMs on the page Expression:offer, so it's not immediately obvious to me, which should be out of sync. Can you point it out? Tx. -- Purodha Blissenbach 10:21, 29 August 2006 (CEST)
OLPC[edit]
Hi, as you might have already noted we are working on the OLPC Children's Dictionary. Actually I am the one trying to get as many people contributing as possible and therefore I prepared this message. I am wondering if you would like to help us and work on some of the words on this list: OLPC Children's Dictionary/1000 Basic words/red links in English adding the missing defined meanings. It would be really great :-) Thank you! --Sabine 21:18, 8 October 2006 (CEST)
{outofsync}[edit]
Hi Celestianpower, I am happy to see you around again :)
Just for your information, when you change a definition (for example Expression:courgette), it is best to add some {outofsync} template in the discussion page of the DefinedMeaning (see for example DefinedMeaning talk:courgette (423541)) to indicate that some definitions need to be updated. Thanks --Kipcool 16:36, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
Adding several translations at once[edit]
And one more thing: when editing, you can add several translations at once. By clicking on the green "+" button it adds a new row. (=> no need to wait for the page to reload each time). --Kipcool 16:43, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
