I think I shall like to keep my User: page redlinked for as long as absolutely a reminder for everyone, Do Not Bite the Newcomers. --Connel MacKenzie 20:38, 12 February 2006 (CET) Sheesh. OK Dvorty. --Connel MacKenzie 08:33, 12 March 2006 (CET)

Hi. I have created an account here, not because I intend to do very much here, but to stop any other mischevious person creating it. Do you think that ALL en.wiktionary sysops should do the same (in case we get migrated at some distant time)? SemperBlotto p.s. You can tell it is really me as I have the same (confirmed) email address.

Actually, I can't tell even that, unless I send you an e-mail and you reply. But yes, that is a very good point. --Connel MacKenzie 18:12, 12 October 2006 (CEST)
Anyone is welcome to create a user at OmegaWiki. People who are known to be good are even more welcome.. :) As you know OmegaWiki is of the opinion that it is up to a community to migrate to OmegaWiki. Another question to if a community wants to stop operating. This too is up to the community, it is not for OmegaWiki to push for such a thing. GerardM 18:46, 12 October 2006 (CEST)
Gerard, no that is a different topic. Semper wants to suggest (on en.wikt:) that all sysops be required to create accounts here, to prevent impersonators. I agree. I think that is a very good idea, and shall pursue it, if he does not. --Connel MacKenzie 06:30, 13 October 2006 (CEST)
