Hi, I see you have removed the greeting quite quickly after it had been placed. Is there anything I/we can assist you with? Also, please fill out the babel templates on your user page. Cheers! Siebrand 21:00, 5 September 2006 (CEST)
- Cut the freaking sci-fi bullshit. And don't use templates to greet people. I'm not a robot who enjoys parsing templates. --LA2 21:01, 5 September 2006 (CEST)
- This was a statement by me, that only I have to answer for. The current name of the village pump is a burden for all participants, present and future. --LA2 21:10, 5 September 2006 (CEST)
Hoi Lars, welcome to OmegaWiki. When in Rome do as the Romans do. OmegaWiki is its own community and we appreciate it when we are treated with respect. You were welcomed and it is not good. The Beer Parlour has a name that is not what you want it to be.
If you want to achieve something, you make sure that you understand the community that you join. GerardM 21:14, 5 September 2006 (CEST)
- Hi Gerard, I too prefer to be treated with respect, rather than having a template slammed in my face by someone who doesn't know me and doesn't care to learn who I am. The language of the template also has some LSD psychedelic mumbo-jumbo about how great this new thing is, when in fact it is a stale prototype. Sorry, I'm not really impressed. This thing is too primitive, and I don't see it moving forward. I'll check back later. You should at least rename the village pump. That's an improvement that can be finished on time. --LA2 21:19, 5 September 2006 (CEST)
- I'm sad to hear that you are disappointed. I do wonder where we started to talk to each other instead of having a dialogue. Please let me know if you wish to contribute to this this wiki. We are aware of many issues that can be approved, as was stated in the (removed) welcome message. Kindest regards, Siebrand 22:30, 5 September 2006 (CEST)
