Theilen should read Teilen, right? -- IvanP (talk) 18:20, 12 January 2016 (CET)

Not in this case since the source is using the pre-1901 orthography. See Peter Honnen: Geheimsprachen im Rheinland. Eine Dokumentation der Rotwelschdialekte in Bell, Breyell, Kofferen, Neroth, Speicher und Stotzheim (Rheinische Mundarten; Bd. 10). 2. Aufl. Rheinland-Verlag, Köln 2000, ISBN 3-7927-1728-X (mit einer CD), part of which was imported using User talk:Purbo T/uploads/G. --Purodha Blissenbach (talk) 22:12, 12 January 2016 (CET)

Do we have to follow this source? The entry is not marked as being about pre-1901 German, nor is the source given. What about Anführrer [Anführer], defined as “Jemand, der das Vehalten [Verhalten] einer Gruppe maßgeblich beeinflußt oder dominiert.” in German and “Someone” (!) in English?-- IvanP (talk) 23:41, 12 January 2016 (CET)

How would you mark an entry as having a certain orthography? We are currently not able to do that for German. If you know how to do it, please do. The IANA Language Subtag Registry currently defines codes for some orthographies of German. We do not use them, contrasting e.g. Belarussian, where we do it. We could use them, but there is currently no code for the pre-1901 as far as I know.
I would like to add the source, but again - that has yet to be programmed. I shall add these imports to a collection "Listed in the book: ..." in the near future but that will take some time, and someone must create all the needed collections for dozens of books and other sources on my import list, since I am currently not allowed to create collections.
I shall check Anführrer and report there.
