A Multilingual Dictionary for the Children of our World[edit]

OmegaWiki ( is a project developing an open content Wiki style dictionary in every language of the world, working with the University of Bamberg ( to identify relevant word lists and develop needed applications. We are specifically working on a dictionary for children, to be included on the OLPC laptops.

One Laptop Per Child [OLPC] is an initiative to mass-produce ultra-low-cost ($100), durable laptops and to distribute them throughout the world to improve education for millions of children. The laptops are a unique learning tool, created expressly for children living in the world's most remote environments.
