Welcome to OmegaWiki[edit]

Welcome to OmegaWiki, the Wiktionary for all languages, glad you could come. OmegaWiki is an exciting experimental project (nothing like it has been done before) aiming to unite all words in all languages. Naturally, it has bugs and we don't know yet how to solve them all. Bug reports are welcome in the pub or at the admins.[1]

Currently, editing is very limited and only in the hands of a few trusted and experienced individuals but if you want to help, you can add {{Attention|<problems with article>}} to the talk page of articles with errors in them. Also, take a peek at your local portal (Portal:xxx, where xxx is the three-digit ISO-639-3 code for your language).

Please create yourself some Babel templates and please read about the DefinedMeaning.

Once again, glad you could make it!

Expression:cobras moved to Expression:cobra ?[edit]

Rei-artur, at the logging I see you renamed a few OmegaWiki: expressions.

(OmegaWiki:ovos movido para OmegaWiki:ovo)
(OmegaWiki:florestas movido para OmegaWiki:floresta)
(OmegaWiki:cobras movido para OmegaWiki:cobra)

At the namespace OmegaWiki you should not use the Move button, but add a new translation to a DM and remove the old one. I am not sure how to correct this. HenkvD 23:35, 8 September 2006 (CEST)

Olá, Rei, estou a espreitar um pouco, a aprender com vocês. Obrigado pelas palavras de recepção e um abraço. Eusbarbosa 23:36, 14 September 2006 (CEST)

Eastern vs Western[edit]

I do not speak any portuguese at all, but it would seem that you have mixed east and west in several cases while translating countries definitions, if I have it right that "Um país da África Ocidental." designates a Western Africa country. Instances of such: Somalia, Rwanda and Burundi. Please have a look, thanks.

--Malafaya 00:23, 9 October 2006 (CEST)
